Meet the Family . . .

We’re not quite sure of the year that Great, Great, Great Granddaddy William Thaddeus Focker began his career in the Dutch countryside, but generation after generation of Fockers have been a driving force of mercantile and innovative products, while keeping service to their communities personal and fair.

Our goal at W. T. Focker & Co. is to continue that tradition.

One notable Focker was a coffee merchant in the Netherlands, and son Anthony went on to develop Fokker Aircraft…a worthwhile addition in WWI.

Soon more and more Fockers left their homelands in Holland and made their way to the United States. In tracing their roots, it seems they all had something in common. A desire for helping their neighbors, providing a service or product, and being sensitive to the ever changing and increasing needs of families.

Many of the Fockers settled in America’s heartland and grocery growing areas such as Indiana and Iowa.

But Wait. There’s more.

Granny Fanny Focker landed in the northern Ozarks in Boone County Missouri. Raising her Fockerettes, Granny Fanny knew more ways to stretch a dollar and a bag of beans than most around.

In their honor, we hope to walk in the footsteps of the Fockers who went before us and offer great products at fantastic prices with personal service.
